Welcome to Sharesurf. A Blog that covers various aspects of investing, with a particular bias towards equities!
I am a graduate from the University of St Andrews, where I studied for a Masters in Applied Mathematics, during which I studied Financial Mathematics and Global Capital Markets. It was here where I first become fascinated by the field of investments.
I have worked in the financial services industry since 2013. From my experiences I learned a great deal more about the financial markets as well as the workings of the stockmarket. In my free time I’m constantly learning about ways to valuate shares, as well as various investing methods in order to enhance my chances of getting great returns on investment. So far this has worked a treat as my personal investment portfolio has beaten the FTSE 100 by 10% and the FTSE 250 by 3% in 2017, so I’m off to a good start.
I built this website to share some of my insights with you. Here at Sharesurf you’ll find articles on shares I’m bullish on, analysis methods I use, as well as any key news insights that may be of use to prospective equity investors.
I hope the content proves useful to you, but of course bear in mind that no research is as important as your own!
